JeLuSS Mfg., Inc. has recently purchased and installed a Zeiss Eclipse 2840-18 CMM with QC5300 software. This machine enables us to check your parts to an even higher level of quality than ever before. We can check concentricity, cylindricity, parallelism, etc. better than ever before. This machine also allows us to generate quality conformance reports and to document critical measurements better than ever.
Another advantage we now have is the ability to reverse engineer parts that you, the customer have that you may need help getting drawn. We can generate an IGES file from points taken when measuring parts and transfer this file into AutoCAD and use it to make a complete drawing. So if you have a part you have made and need to duplicate in quantity, we can now help you with this.
Our CMM has a large enough work envelope to accommodate any part that will fit into our horizontal machining centers or lathes. It can measure parts that are 40" long x 28" wide x 18" tall.
Other machining capabilities include:
Turning Equipment:
• Daewoo Puma 240MB CNC lathe with collet
chuck, 8" 3-jaw chuck, and 10" 2-jaw chuck.
Machine has 7.25" maximum machining
diameter, and 20.1" linear travel. Equipped
with CNC Enhancements Autobar 400 bar
feed capable of feeding bars up to 2-1/2" in
diameter. This machine has live milling and
drilling capabilities.
• Daewoo Puma 200C CNC lathe with collet
chuck and 8" 3-jaw chuck. Machine has 6.25"
maximum
machining diameter, and 16.8"
linear travel. Equipped with CNC
Enhancements Autobar 400 bar feed capable
of feeding bars up to 2-1/2" in diameter.
• Warner & Swasey #2A turret lathe with 18"
chuck, 21" maximum part
diameter, and 36" of linear travel.
• Longem LG1760 engine lathe with 12.5" 3-jaw and 16" 4-jaw chucks and digital read out.
• We also have access to some larger CNC lathes that can turn up to 40" long and/or up to
16" diameter.
Milling, Drilling, and Tapping Equipment:
• Toyoda FA550 horizontal machining center
with 29.5" x 29.5" x 23.6" work envelope
capable of reaching four sides of a part and
milling, drilling, tapping, boring, etc. This
machine has one-degree pallet indexing and
coolant through the spindle.
• (2) Toyoda FH55 horizontal machining
centers with 28" x 28" x 21.5" work
envelope capable of reaching four sides of
a part and milling, drilling, tapping, boring,
etc. These machines have one-degree pallet
indexing and coolant through the spindle.
• Komo VMC 50/160 vertical machining
center with 160" x 32" work envelope
capable of milling, drilling, tapping, boring,
etc. with coolant through the spindle.
• Toyoda BM1200 vertical machining center
with 47.2" x 23.6" work envelope capable
of milling, drilling, tapping, boring, etc.
with coolant through the spindle.
• Pratt & Whitney Trimac X CNC vertical
machining center with 40" x 20" work
envelope capable of milling, drilling,
tapping, boring, etc.
• DoAll GPM200V manual milling machine
with 9" x 49" table and digital read out.
• Carlton model 1A radial arm drill with 4'
arm and 11" column capable of drilling,
tapping, reaming, etc.
• Acra model RF-46SF 20" drill press with
power feed.
• Enco model 508vs 20" drill press.
• Procunier model 2 tapping head with collets
to tap from #4 to ½" threads.
Sawing, Fabricating and Deburring Equipment:
• (2) DoAll model C260A horizontal band saws capable of cutting up to 10-1/4" x 12" with
automatic feed.
• Unihydro model 42-14SLS iron worker with angle shearing capacity up to 3" x 3" x 3/8", flat
shearing capacities to 3/8" x 14", ½" x 10" or 5/8" x 6". Also can punch up to 42 tons with a wide
variety of rounds and slots available and can do some bending.
• Several drill presses for deburring.
• Several JMI model 3-48 pedestal type belt sanders used for deburring small parts.
• 14" chop saw.
• Enco parts washer.
• Diversi-Tech down draft table.
